A Carefully Curated Christmas Collection.
(Say that 3x fast…)
I am such a huge fan of everything Christmas! From the lights, time with your family, and the cookies to the cheerful masses, this time of year simply fills me with joy. To spread this holiday cheer, I will now reveal my favorite Christmas movies. So cuddle up, get some hot chocolate and enjoy the movies I have loved for years!
1. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989)
‘The Griswold family’s plans for a big family Christmas predictably turn into a big disaster.’
This is a must see, every year, several times! The story unfolds of a family enjoying the holidays with their extended family as well, all under one roof. As we all have experienced, it can get crazy at times!
- 7.6/ 10 IMDb
- 64% Rotten Tomatoes
2. Home Alone (1990)

‘An eight-year-old troublemaker must protect his house from a pair of burglars when he is accidentally left home alone by his family during Christmas vacation.’
What a classic! Even though this little guy is only eight, he makes life painful on these attempted thieves. You never know what he will get them with next!
- 7.5/10 IMDb
- 63% Rotten Tomatoes
3. Elf (2003)

‘After inadvertently wreaking havoc on the elf community due to his ungainly size, a man raised as an elf at the North Pole is sent to the U.S. in search of his true identity.’
Smiles and laughs all around. Buddy the elf does a great job of spreading Christmas cheer…by singing for all to hear! Oh, and spaghetti is always better with maple syrup, right?
- 6.9/10 IMDb
- 83% Rotten Tomatoes
4. The Santa Clause (1994)

‘When a man inadvertantly kills Santa on Christmas Eve, he finds himself magically recruited to take his place.’
Imagine waking up one day and having the task of filling Santa’s shoes..think it would be easy? I sure do think he does a great job, surely brings home the Christmas season.
- 6.4/10 IMDb
- 74% Rotten Tomatoes
5. Jingle All the Way (1996)

‘A father vows to get his son a Turbo Man action figure for Christmas. However, every store is sold out of them, and he must travel all over town and compete with everybody else in order to find one.’
It is amazing the lengths parents will go through to get their kids toys, especially when it is Arnold Schwarzenegger! This is a fun, action packed Christmas extravaganza!
- 5.5/10 IMDb
- 16% Rotten Tomatoes (WOW!)
